Play with Shadows in Contrast
Indie puzzlers are becoming a dime a dozen these days, fortunately for the indie community, most of these games are ambitious, incredibly well done, and infectiously fun to play, so getting a chance to play an action/adventure/platformer puzzler that dances on the line of shadows and the supernatural sounded well, natural.
Contrast from Compulsion games is difficult to explain on paper. A girl with an imaginary friend who can possibly alter reality through manipulation of light surfaces and shadows, with an art style that dabbles in the macabre. There’s obviously much more to it, but I’ll let Guillaume Provost, Compulsion Games studio head explain it in much greater detail.
Contrast was one of the cleanest and most polished indie games we played at PAX, it’s one you wont want to miss when it launches with the PlayStation 4 on November 14th. Don’t worry, if you aren’t getting a PS4 on day one, Contrast will also be available on Steam, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 that same day.
